Why
Fit 4 Life?
It’s
no secret that, with the busy lifestyle of the average American,
exercise and nutrition
are often overlooked. We have
all seen the media reports on obesity in our country. However
it should be noted that obesity is only one consequence of
an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle. In fact, according to
the CDC, there are five common factors associated with a physically
inactive lifestyle: Diabetes, obesity, depression, heart disease
and cancer. |

Educate,
Motivate and Dedicate
The
Fit 4 Life Tour is a mobile marketing outreach program designed
to educate and inspire
those who are physically inactive about the numerous positive
benefits
of nutrition and exercise. The tour will feature three main stations designed
to Educate, Motivate and Dedicate. The Educate station will provide information
on nutrition and the value of an active lifestyle. The Motivate station will
inspire people to use outdoor recreation as their “trail” to a
healthy life. Unlike crash diets and gym memberships, being outdoors is fun
and getting healthy is an added bonus. The tour will demonstrate how simple
it can be to get started in the four featured outdoor sports by providing gear
and destination advice. The Dedicate station will encourage visitors to sign
the “Fit 4 Life Pledge.” |
