CANMORE, ALBERTA --Tapping into the most vibrant segment of mountain biking today, the Hooked on the Outdoors Village Tour this week heads to the Canmore Nordic Centre for the Jeep 24 Hours of Adrenalin, July 19-20, 2003.
The Tour is an ongoing grassroots marketing program comprised of a virtual "village" created around a customized 40-foot Hooked on the Outdoors RV, providing a festival setting for demonstrations of sponsor products, sponsor product giveaways and sweepstakes.
The Jeep 24 Hours of Adrenalin is a series of team mountain-bike relay races held at destinations throughout North America. Every 24 Hours of Adrenalin draws solo participants as well as teams up to 10 people. Riders of all levels are welcome, and the majority of entrants are cultivated from the broad "weekend warriors" category the heart of the Hooked on the Outdoors audience.
"The 24 Hours of Adrenalin series is devoted to one thing: participation. You get your bike, your buddies, and hit the trail. It's an important evolution in the outdoor scene, and Hooked on the Outdoors is very proud to be providing continuing coverage and support for this important category," said Jeff Espy of ADventure L.L.C., publishers of Hooked on the Outdoors.
Located 90 minutes from Calgary International Airport, the Canmore Nordic Centre is framed by the Canadian Rockies and provides one of the most scenic backdrops for the 24 Hours of Adrenalin series. The Nordic Centre was the site of the 1988 Olympic Cross Country Skiing venue. For more information, please go to www.24hoursofadrenaline.com/.
